Levi’s to launch Studio Ghibli’s Princess Mononoke collection on Aug 10; exclusively available at ION Orchard

Fans of Studio Ghibli’s Princess Mononoke can look forward to Levi’s new collection, themed after the award-winning film. The collection will exclusively be available at the ION Orchard outlet and for online purchase from Aug 10. Levi’s Red Tab members will get early access on Aug 8 on the Levi’s website.

Consisting of graphic tees, a hoodie, accessories and denim items, each piece of the collection is inspired by the film’s hand-painted landscapes, characters and mythical creatures.

Building off the movie’s characters and environment is the San & Wolf Trucker Jacket priced at $289.90, the Ashitaka 501 ’93 Jeans at $189.90, and the San & Moro 501 Shorts at $149.90. These apparels’ designs include the film’s forest and sun background, which is integrated into the denim.

The collection also uses the brand’s iconic darker indigo denim pieces with the Nightwalker Denim Kimono Jacket priced at $209.90 and the Kodama Denim Overall which retails at $219.90.

A series of Princess Mononoke-inspired accessories are also available for purchase. These include a Western-American Levi’s bandana which features a red battle mask, the Ancient Forest Bucket Hat priced at $109.90 and a San & Ashitaka Tote at $179.90.

There are also two coin purses – one featuring a Kodama face and the other San’s red mask.

From Aug 10 to 20, shoppers who purchase any item from the Levi’s x Princess Mononoke collection or spend a minimum of $230 will be able to play a Princess Mononoke-inspired claw machine and stand a chance to win prizes, including a limited-edition Levi’s denim tote bag.
